I posted a picture from the Willams-Parker family reunion. It showes that family members are able to come together for events other than funerals in order to show love, honor and respect for each other. July 2011....'
This picture is from our last family reunion which took place over the the July 4th weekend, 2011. Our family reunion started as a way to honor two men that brought our families together as descendants of Daniel and Harriett Lindsay, one as a son and the other as a grandson. Both of these men were an inspiration to everyone that they came in contact with. They were role models that inspired and motivated their children through there acts and deeds instilling in them values and the importance of working hard, achieving goals and owning their own property.

We're a family from Philadelphia. We get together just about every weekend and party. Our great-grandmother and grandmother started weekly family dinners and parties before we were born and although they are gone, we continue the tradition. We are known throughout the neighborhood as having the tightest, largest, funniest, cook-our-butts-off, family. Thank God for Grandma!!!!
We've been together since we was 16+17 years old.....we are together 24/7 work in the same hospital.......

Philadelphia, Pa and Paulsboro, NJ. The Kidd family can be traced back to Millers Tavern (Farm)(Plantation) in 1837. From there the Kidd men worked the fields and the woman worked in the house and fields. Three Kidd brothers married three Robinson women and moved to PA and NJ in the early 1900's. since then our family has been productive citizens on both sides of the Delaware River in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The attached picture is from our 2011 family reunion

Mccray Mothers Day 2011
A blessing and a joy as we spend Mother's Day with our mother/grandmother. Sweet Gwyndanita has had some health challenges this past year... BUT GOD! It's been a full job seeing to mom, and taking care of family but it's made us closer and stronger as a family. A trip to see the Micky and Mini may be just what the doctor ordered:) God Bless!
