This Has To Be The Biggest Surprise Of My Life! Halle Berry is opening up to People magazine about her surprise second pregnancy. Berry, 46, is expecting a baby with fiancé Actor Olivier Martinez. She already has five- year old daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry. Berry is excited, and right now she appreciates the good news in her life. A hit movie with The Call and now a second child. Berry had a rough 2012 with her fiancé (Martinez) and her ex (Aubry) getting into a
violent confrontation outside of her home on Thanksgiving. Berry's baby is due in the fall.
Wesley Snipes is out of jail. After serving almost three years in prison for tax evasion, the actor is now serving time in a halfway house until July. After that, it’s off to the movies. Snipes will be joining Sylvester Stallone in the latest installment of The Expendables. The Expendables III will hit theatres next year.
Is Tyler Perry too busy for “Madea?” Filming is scheduled to start soon on the latest Madea Christmas movie but sources say another actor may be playing the “Madea” role. I hear Actor/Comedian Orlando Jones (Drumline, 7-UP commercials, MAD-TV) will be playing “Madea.” WHAT! Perry is very busy trying to launch two news shows on Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable channel. Perry's two new shows, The Have's And Have Not's and Love Thy Neighbor, debut in late May. Can another Actor play Madea? In other Tyler Perry news, he recently revealed to Steve Harvey his readiness to be a father. He says he is not ready for marriage, but at 43, he is ready to be a dad.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 17th for the Jay-Z- Budweiser Made In America Festival happening Labor Day weekend in Philly on the Ben Franklin Parkway. It’s going to be a star-studded musical event with Beyonce, her sister Solange, Nine Inch Nails, Public Enemy, A$ap Rocky, Miguel, Macklemore and Ryan Leslie, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, The Cure, Alice In Chains, Calvin Harris and Wiz Khalifa, to name a few.
Chris Rock is coming to The Real Husbands Of Hollywood. Singer Robin Thicke's exit made the opening for Rock. When asked why he would want to join the hit BET show, Rock replied he is a fan of the show and it looks like fun. The show star and co-creator, Kevin Hart, said he is
happy to have Rock, his friend and mentor, join the show. Filming for the second season is happening later this year.
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan died last year, and his sister is coming after Duncan's reality star fiancee. Apprentice Star Omarosa was supposed to marry Duncan, but he died after suffering a heart attack. Judy Falzone, Duncan's sister, says Omarosa stole money and personal items from Duncan and cut off his family from getting anything. Apparently, Duncan used to take care of his sister financially. Now that he has died, that support has stopped.
Orlando Brown, Raven Symone's co-star in Disney's That's So Raven has been arrested for drunk driving. This can't be good for the 25-year old Brown, who has previous arrests for D.U.I. in 2011 and for possession of marijuana in 2007.
CBS Syndication may have stopped his show, but Judge Joe Brown says he is not going anywhere. Brown says he is working on new court show, a talk show and a daytime radio show.

Film critic Roger Ebert has died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 70. Ebert was a screenwriter and long-time Chicago Sun-Times film critic. He came to international prominence when he teamed with his rival Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune for PBS' Sneak Previews, which later became At The Movies. Siskel & Ebert gave birth to the famous Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down reviews. Siskel died in 1999, and the show continued with Richard Roeper. Ebert's earlier diagnosis of cancer eventually took his ability to speak, but he credited his wife of twenty years, Chazz, for seeing him through the crises. Both were featured together on Oprah, whom Ebert dated back in the day. Ebert was hailed as a champion for equality and social change by looking for those
qualities in the films he reviewed and in film-making generally.
She was known as the Queen of The Mickey Mouse Club. TV Icon Annette Funicello died this week from complications of MS. Funicello was discovered by Walt Disney, who became one of the biggest influences in her life and career. He cast her in TV's The Mickey Mouse Club in the mid 1950's. As a teen idol and with Dick Clark mentoring her, Funicello later went on to record a series of pop records in the late 50's and early 60's before teaming up with life long friend and Singer Frankie Avalon for a series of teenage beach movies. All the while preserving her good girl image. Funicello later became known for her charity work and as a TV pitchwoman for Skippy peanut butter. In 1992, she announced she had multiple sclerosis, which eventually took her abilities to speak and walk. Funicello was 70-years old.

Fox, and The First Family stars Christopher B. Duncan, Kellita Smith, Jackee Harry and John Witherspoon.
How long is DL Hughley going to last on Dancing With Stars? The adjustment has been hard on the actor/comedian. He is not a good dancer. DL felt the judges werebullying him, but his fans are keeping him in the competition. Despite his lackluster dancing, DL has never been in the bottom three. He never realized being on this show would be so hard. How long can DL escape elimination?
Is Janet Jackson retiring from showbiz? Jackson, 46, is married to a Muslim billionaire

Smokey Robinson has signed with a new record label, Verve/Universal which is chaired by Musician/Producer David Foster, with plans to record a new duet album. Over the years, Smokey has written classics for Mary Wells, Marvin Gaye and The Temptaions, to name few. On his new CD Duets, Robinson will duet on classic songs he has written, performed or both. Smokey follows in the footsteps of fellow ex-Motowner Lionel Richie. Richie's duet CD of his classic songs gave him his first number one album in almost 30 years. Smokey's CD is due out this fall.
The award-winning film Django Unchained comes out on DVD April 16th, The Quentin Tarantino movie stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Christoph Waltz, who won an Oscar for his role as the bounty hunter. Tarantino won an Oscar for his screenplay.
Speaking of Jamie Foxx movies, White House Down is Foxx's latest. Foxx is going to play the President Of The United States and his co-stars are Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx Show alum Garcelle Beauvais. White House Down opens in theatres June 28th. Foxx has also been named the new spokesperson for the national campaign for Big Brothers And Big Sisters.
Speaking of Barbara Walters, she's being quiet about it, but she will be retiring next year in 2014 like Jay Leno? A big sendoff is being planned for May 2014. Walters, 83, heads up the popular daytime show The View. Over the past couple of years, she has battled health
issues, including a fall at the beginning of the year and a bout with the chicken pox. Walters has enjoyed a storied career, and her retirement would mark the end of an era.
In BET news, TD Jakes getting a talk show called Mind, Body & Soul. Jakes' show will deal with issues of health, wellness and finance. Mind, Body & Soul is set to debut this fall on BET.

Gospel Superstar Fred Hammond has formed a new group United Tenors. It’s Hammond, Eric Roberson, Dave Hollister and Brian Courtney Wilson. Hammond says it’s the perfect combination of R&B and gospel.
At the movies this week, it's the movie 42, the life story of Jackie Robinson starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a screening of 42 at the White House where she and President Obama hosted and welcomed Rachel Robinson, the 90-year old widow of the baseball legend. Mrs. Obama is also on the cover of Vogue magazine. The First Lady turns 50 next January, and she is already gearing up for a star-studded bash featuring Beyonce and Adele.
Queen Latifah's new talk debuts September 16th on CBS. The show is being produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, and will feature stand up comedy, music and interviews.
Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Jennifer Hudson are joining forces for the movie Call Me Crazy. The movie is about mental illness and will air Saturday, April 20th on the Lifetime channel. Meanwhile, Jennifer is causing quite a buzz. She has been doing promotional events but not wearing her engagement ring. Are marriage plans still in the works for Hudson and David

Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey? Yes! Oprah is going to be a guest of Harvey's top-rated daytime talk show. Oprah will sit down with Harvey on April 26th.The Steve Harvey talk show airs locally at 2pm on NBC-10. It's now called The Neighborhood Awards and tickets are now on sale. The Neighborhood Awards are happening August 8th -11th in Las Vegas.
Taye Diggs is coming back to TV. Diggs was recently in the ABC drama Private Practice. Now, he just filmed a pilot for the TNT network called Murder In The First, where he will play a homicide detective. Later this year, Diggs will be starring in the Best Man sequel which is slated to hit theatres in November. Best Man Director Malcolm Lee will be back as well, but first his directing work on Scary Movie V will be in theaters April 12th.
Olympic Darling Gabby Douglas has written another book called Raising The Bar. In the book, she talks about her life after the Olympics. Douglas covers: her daily life with family and friends as an everyday teen with a not so everyday life. It also details her life after the London Olympics. The book is a followup to her previous bestseller Grace, Gold & Glory: My Leap Of Faith. Last summer, Douglas stole the hearts of the international Olympic audience at the London games.
Motown Founder Berry Gordy will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in June. Before he founded Motown Records, Gordy was quite a prominent songwriter for artists such as Jackie Wilson (To Be Loved, Reet Petite, To Be Loved and Lonely Teardrops) and Etta James (All I
Could Do Was Cry). The legendary music mogul is getting the Pioneer's Award. This is hot on the heels of the The Motown Musical, which debuts on Broadway April 14th.

How hot is Actor Craig Robinson? Well, there is life after the sitcom The Office. The show ends this year, but Robinson is filming a pilot for a new NBC show where he will play a musician who takes a job as a middle school teacher. Actor Larenz Tate (Why Do Fools Fall In Love; Love Jones) will co-star. Robinson also has a new Tyler Perry produced-movie coming out May called Peeples. It hits theaters May 10th, and also stars Kerry Washington, Diahann Carroll, David Alan Grier

Iyanla Van Zandt is back the second season of her hit show Iyanla: Fix My Life kicks off April 13th on OWN. In the new season, she squares off with Rapper DMX and Sheree Whitfield, formerly of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Following Fix My Life, it's LaToya Jackson' new reality show Life With LaToya on OWN.
Beyonce is launching The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. She'll be in Philly July 25th at the Wells Fargo Center and at The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on July 26th.
In more Beyonce news, she has just confirmed her return to 2013 Essence Festival July 4th -7th. She'll take her Mrs. Carter show to New Orleans and the Essence main stage. LL Cool J, Trey Songz, Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole, New Edition, Brandy, Mint Condition, Tamia, “Uncle Charlie” Wilson, Solange Knowles and Maxwell are also on the bill.
