The BET Awards has now turned into the BET Experience. The show airs June 30^th on BET with special guests Beyonce, New Edition, R Kelly, Miguel, The Jacksons, Snoop Dog and many more. Chris Tucker is this year's host.

Flavor Flav is charged with assault and could be going to jail for up to 12 years. Flav is accused of chasing his girlfriend's 17-year old son with a butcher knife. Flavor Flav is 54 and is facing two felony charges. If he winds up in jail, he will miss Public Enemy's induction into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and The Budweiser Made In America Music Festival.

Lauryn Hill could be headed to jail too for not paying her taxes. Hill owes the state of New Jersey $440,000. She claims she didn’t pay her taxes because her life had been threatened. Hill faces up to seven years in jail. She says she could make the money to pay off the debt...... if she is not in jail!

Not a good weekend for my “nephew” Kevin Hart. The Real Husbands Of Hollywood star has been keeping a low profile since his arrest on drunk driving. How drunk was Kevin? He almost crashed into a gas
tanker! Kevin admits he was drunk. His latest stand up movie, Let Me Explain, comes out this July. Chris Rock will be teaming up with Hart and The Real Husbands crew later this year for a new season of the
hit BET series.

Tyler Perry will continue as “Madea.” Perry says Actor Orlando Jones (MAD TV) was laying an April Fools joke when Jones claimed to be taking over the “Madea” role from Perry. Perry says he has no plans to have another actor play the role he made famous. A new “Madea” movie is coming out this December starring Tyler Perry.

LaToya Jackson says she has never met sister Janet's new husband Wissam Al Mana. Is Janet keeping her billionaire husband away from her family? Sources say yes! That's because she doesn’t want them asking him for money.....specially with LaToya facing a lawsuit and being accused of exploiting Michael Jackson's
children? LaToya, 56, is the manager of her late brother's kids Prince, Paris and Blanket. The Jackson three are pursuing various careers in the public spotlight, and Auntie LaToya is managing them. LaToya, who is also a part of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, has a new reality show on Oprah's OWN cable station. LaToya's new show occasionally features Michael's children. LaToya's lawsuit came from her problems on Celebrity Apprentice. She leveled an accusation at Co-star Amarosa regarding the death of Actor Michael Clark Duncan. Amarosa is now suing LaToya.

In more Jackson news, Paris speaks! The 15-year old daughter of Michael Jackson says she wants to restore her father's Neverland ranch, and she wants to become a heart surgeon. Paris recently established a relationship with her birth mother Debbie Rowe. The next few months are going to be hectic for Paris. Her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, is suing concert promoter AEG. She filed  this wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live for negligent hiring of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently serving 4 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. The trial is to established how much responsibility AEG must take for Jackson's death. Look for AEG to bring up a lot of negatives against Michael Jackson including that he hired Murray, drug and alcohol abuse and whether or not Jackson is the biological parent of Prince and Michael. It appears Michael's youngest son, Blanket, is his. Blanket looks just like Michael.

Ratings for American Idol are going up, and Mariah Carey has been asked to turn on the mean. For the first time in seven years, a woman will win American Idol. I think It’s coming to down to Candace and Cree. Who is going to win?

Some good news for the George brothers, best known for their work as writers/producers/singers in the legendary band Full Force. Paul Anthony has been battling the mantle cell lymphoma form of cancer for
close to a full year. Paul's brother and Bandmate Bowlegged Lou donated his bone marrow to his brother. This is similar to Robin Roberts' sister donating to her. The brothers are making good progress, and Paul thanks his fans for their prayers. Paul has also set up the Paul Anthony Foundation, which is currently in the midst of a bone marrow drive.

Congrats to Chaka Khan! She's getting inducted into the Apollo Theater Hall Of Fame in June. Patti LaBelle, Jennifer Holliday and Mary J. Bilge will be among those paying tribute to Chaka and her 40 years in the music industry. Past inductees include Smokey Robinson, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Aretha Franklin.

VH1 has pulled the plug on Basketball Wives L.A. The show floundered in the ratings. A new season of Basketball Wives Miami with Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman is still on tap for this
summer, and Producer Tracey Edmonds is moving full steam ahead with her movie version of Basketball Wives.

The Marlon Wayans-Cedric The Entertainer movie Haunted House is coming out on DVD on April 23^rd.
The movie, also starring Essence Atkins, made over $40 million at the box office. There will be a sequel.  Haunted House II is coming out next year.

Speaking of sequels, get ready for Think Like A Man II. Steve Harvey will be back as executive producer along with Director Tim Story. I also hear the entire cast is close to signing on for this sequel. The first
Think Like A Man starred Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Terrence J, Meagan Good and Taraji P. Henson. It made almost $100 million at the box office.

Iron Man III with Robert Downey, Jr. and Don Cheadle hits theatres May 3^rd. I hear Robert Downey, Jr. may be retiring from the role after this movie.

We lost a Philly music legend this past week. Composer, Arranger, Percussionist Vince Montana, Jr. passed away. Montana was an original member of Philadelphia International Records' MFSB Orchestra (The Sound Of Philadelphia), and later he founded the Salsoul Orchestra for that label. Montana was best known for playing the vibraphone and often conducting both orchestras. His work can be heard on the songs of The Soul Survivors (Expressway To Your Heart), Eddie Holman (Hey There Lonely Girl), The Delfonics (La-La Means I Love You), The Intruders (Cowboys To Girls), The O'Jays (Love Train/Lovin' You), Frankie Avalon (Venus), The Three Degrees (When Will I See You Again), Spinners (Could It Be I'm Falling In Love), Stylistics (You Make Me Feel Brand New), Eddie Kendricks (He's A Friend), Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes (Bad Luck) and the holiday classic Merry Christmas All by Denise Montana & The Salsoul Orchestra, just to name a few. This October, The Philadelphia Music Alliance will continue with their plans to induct Montana into its Walk Of Fame with a bronze plaque on Broad Street. Vince Montana was 85.

Get ready for a new documentary about Julius “Dr. J” Erving. It's to celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the NBA legend's only NBA championship with the Philadelphia 76ers. The 90 minute special, The Doctor, will air on NBA-TV June 10^th.

Sunny Anderson of The Food Network has a new cook book coming. Sunny Anderson: Easy Food For Real Life hits stores this August.

Disco Legend Gloria Gaynor is known for her classics Never Can Say Goodbye, I Am What I Am and Let Me Know (I Have A Right), but her best known hit is influencing her new work. The song I Will Survive has inspired Gaynor's fans to come to her with their survival stories. She's decided to compile those stories into a new book called How We Survived available through her website gloriagaynor.com.

Rapper DMX says Iyanla Van Zandt did not fix his life. The troubled rapper appeared with his family on the OWN reality show Fix My Life. He was a hot mess. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, needs help with his drug addiction, and he shouldn’t blame Iyanla for his troubles. He was downright disrespectful to her.

Stevie Wonder is coming to Dancing With The Stars on Monday, April 23^rd. That show will be dedicated to the Motown legend and his music. And, just as I mentioned might happen last week, D.L. Hughley was the last dancer booted from the show.

When will Kanye West stand up and act like he’s going to be a father? Kim Kardashian has been by herself during this pregnancy while Kanye is in Paris working on a new album. Kanye, what's more important a new album or your first child?

Actress Jeanne Cooper is not doing well. Cooper, 84, is best known for her role as “Katherine Chancellor” on CBS' The Young And The Restless. The veteran soap star is battling a dangerous infection.

Sherri Shepherd from The View is coming out with a new book. The book, How To Lose Weight And Beat Diabetes, is coming out next month.

Magic Johnson's son EJ is opening up about his sexuality. The 20-year old Earvin Johnson, III (EJ) was recently outed by several gossip blogs. EJ says he has always been open about his sexuality, but he wanted to come out on his own terms. EJ says he can only be himself, a voice for young gay people. He's the son of Magic and Cookie. EJ had to be monitored carefully because Cookie became pregnant the same time Magic learned he had HIV. EJ was born healthy.

Friday, June 21^st, it’s another Sound Of Philly night at Citizen Bank Park. The Phillies are playing The Mets, and before the game, some Philly artists will be celebrated on field. Evelyn “Champagne” King,

NeNe Leakes is a grandmother again. Leakes' son Bryce is the father of a baby boy. This makes grandbaby number two for Leakes. She had a granddaughter born last year. The star of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta just signed a million dollar deal to stay on the show.

Tracy Morgan will be hosting The Billboard Music Awards on ABC Sunday, May 19^th. Prince will be honored that night with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kelly Rowland continues to be on a roll. The ex- Destiny's Child singer may be in line to replace Britney Spears on the FOX singing reality show The X-Factor. The show, which underwhelmed in the ratings last year, starts a new season this fall.

White House Down is Jamie Foxx's latest. Foxx is going to play the President Of The United States and his co-stars are Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx Show alum Garcelle Beauvais. White House Down opens in theatres June 28^th. Foxx has also been named the new spokesperson for the national campaign for Big Brothers And Big Sisters. Jamie is also playing the new villain in the next Spiderman movie. Foxx will be playing Electro. His latest movie the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained is available on DVD. The movie also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Christof Walz and Samuel L Jackson.

Oscar Winner Denzel Washington is teaming up with Mark Wahlberg and Paula Patton in the movie 2 Guns. The movie opens in theatres August 2^nd.

Poet Author Maya Angelou 85, has just released her seventh memoir. The book Mom & Me & Mom is out in stores now.

The new season of R&B Divas Atlanta kicks off May 1^st. Angie Stone and Xscape's LaTocha Scott will be joining Faith Evans and Keke Wyatt on the TV One reality show.

Queen Latifah's new talk debuts September 16^th on CBS. The show is being produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, and will feature stand up comedy, music and interviews.

Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Jennifer Hudson are joining forces for the movie Call Me Crazy. The movie is about mental illness and will air Saturday, April 20^th on the Lifetime channel. Meanwhile, Jennifer is causing quite a buzz. She has been doing promotional events but not wearing her engagement
ring. Are marriage plans still in the works for Hudson and David Otunga? They have been engaged forever, but no wedding date has been set.

Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey? Yes! Oprah is going to be a guest of Harvey's top-rated daytime talk show. Oprah will sit down with Harvey on April 26^th. The Steve Harvey talk show airs locally at 2pm on NBC-10.  It's now called The Neighborhood Awards and tickets are now on sale. The Neighborhood Awards are happening August 8^th -11^th in Las Vegas.

How hot is Actor Craig Robinson? Well, there is life after the sitcom The Office. The show ends this year, but Robinson is filming a pilot for a new NBC show where he will play a musician who takes a job as a
middle school teacher. Actor Larenz Tate (Why Do Fools Fall In Love; Love Jones) will co-star. Robinson also has a new Tyler Perry produced-movie coming out May called Peeples. It hits theaters May 10^th,
and also stars Kerry Washington, Diahann Carroll, David Alan Grier (In Living Color), Craig Robinson (The Office), S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order), Melvin Van Peebles and Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris, Go On). Tina Gordon Chism wrote and directed while Perry is producer.

Ahmir Questlove Thompson, the drummer for The Roots, has a memoir coming out June 18^th called Mo' Meta Blues: The World According To Questlove.

In Beyonce news, she has just confirmed her return to 2013 Essence Festival July 4^th -7^th. She'll be in Philly July 25^th at the Wells Fargo Center and at The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on July 26^th. The tour also includes a stop for Essence. She'll take her Mrs. Carter tour to New Orleans and the Essence main stage. LL Cool J, Trey Songz, Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole, New Edition, Brandy, Mint Condition, Tamia, “Uncle Charlie” Wilson, Solange Knowles and Maxwell are also on the bill.

We are going to get more of Wendy Williams. Her popular talk show will be extended into the summer with fresh episodes in June and July and she has a new advice book Ask Wendy which is coming out May 7^th.

The R&B Music Hall Of Fame will launch new inductees May 5^th, 2013. New Inductees include Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, The Supremes, The Miracles and Ray Charles.

This Has To Be The Biggest Surprise Of My Life! Halle Berry is opening up to People magazine about her surprise second pregnancy. Berry, 46, is expecting a baby with fiancé Actor Olivier Martinez. She already has five- year old daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry. Berry is excited, and right now she appreciates the good news in her life. A hit movie with The Call and now a second child. Berry had a rough 2012 with her fiancé (Martinez) and her ex (Aubry) getting into a
violent confrontation outside of her home on Thanksgiving. Berry's baby is due in the fall.

Wesley Snipes is out of jail. After serving almost three years in prison for tax evasion, the actor is now serving time in a halfway house until July. After that, it’s off to the movies. Snipes will be joining Sylvester Stallone in the latest installment of The Expendables. The Expendables III will hit theatres next year.

Is Tyler Perry too busy for “Madea?” Filming is scheduled to start soon on the latest Madea Christmas movie but sources say another actor may be playing the “Madea” role. I hear Actor/Comedian Orlando Jones (Drumline, 7-UP commercials, MAD-TV) will be playing “Madea.” WHAT! Perry is very busy trying to launch two news shows on Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable channel. Perry's two new shows, The Have's And Have Not's and Love Thy Neighbor, debut in late May. Can another Actor play Madea? In other Tyler Perry news, he recently revealed to Steve Harvey his readiness to be a father. He says he is not ready for marriage, but at 43, he is ready to be a dad.

Chris Rock is coming to The Real Husbands Of Hollywood. Singer Robin Thicke's exit made the opening for Rock. When asked why he would want to join the hit BET show, Rock replied he is a fan of the show and it looks like fun. The show star and co-creator, Kevin Hart, said he is
happy to have Rock, his friend and mentor, join the show. Filming for the second season is happening later this year.

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan died last year, and his sister is coming after Duncan's reality star fiancee. Apprentice Star Omarosa was supposed to marry Duncan, but he died after suffering a heart attack. Judy Falzone, Duncan's sister, says Omarosa stole money and personal items from Duncan and cut off his family from getting anything. Apparently, Duncan used to take care of his sister financially. Now that he has died, that support has stopped.

Orlando Brown, Raven Symone's co-star in Disney's That's So Raven has been arrested for drunk driving. This can't be good for the 25-year old Brown, who has previous arrests for D.U.I. in 2011 and for possession of marijuana in 2007.

CBS Syndication may have stopped his show, but Judge Joe Brown says he is not going anywhere. Brown says he is working on new court show, a talk show and a daytime radio show.

Get ready for Memphis Soul Night at The White House, Tuesday, April 16^th on PBS. It’s a salute to that deep, southern soul music that brought us Al Green, Otis Redding, The Staple Singers, Sam & Dave, Ann Peebles and Isaac Hayes. This special salute to Memphis Soul will air as part of the In Performance at the White House series with Justin Timberlake, Queen Latifah and Stax Records Superstar Eddie Floyd.

Poor Cassie……. she will always be....... the forever Jumpoff. The longtime love of P Diddy is dealing with the rumors of her man secretly dating Sports Illustrated Model Kate Upton. Sources say Cassie just lets Diddy do his thing because he always comes back to her.

D'wayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Tone! is going through a divorce. After 12 years of marriage, his wife Michelle Lochin-Wiggins is citing irreconcilable differences with the 50-year old singer/songwriter. She is also seeking custody of their two teenage sons.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned! Pilar Sanders, the ex of Football Great Deion Sanders, is planning to write a book about their abusive marriage. Pilar lost custody of her three children, and Deion has moved on with Producer Tracey Edmonds. Edmonds is the ex-wife of Singer/Songwriter/Producer Babyface.

Get ready for season six of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. All of the ladies will be returning for a new season including NeNe Leakes, breakout star Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and Porsha Stewart.

Film critic Roger Ebert has died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 70. Ebert was a screenwriter and long-time Chicago Sun-Times film critic. He came to international prominence when he teamed with his rival Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune for PBS' Sneak Previews, which later became At The Movies. Siskel & Ebert gave birth to the famous Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down reviews. Siskel died in 1999, and the show continued with Richard Roeper. Ebert's earlier diagnosis of cancer eventually took his ability to speak, but he credited his wife of twenty years, Chazz, for seeing him through the crises. Both were featured together on Oprah, whom Ebert dated back in the day. Ebert was hailed as a champion for equality and social change by looking for those
qualities in the films he reviewed and in film-making generally.

She was known as the Queen of The Mickey Mouse Club. TV Icon Annette Funicello died this week from complications of MS. Funicello was discovered by Walt Disney, who became one of the biggest influences in her life and career. He cast her in TV's The Mickey Mouse Club in the mid 1950's. As a teen idol and with Dick Clark mentoring her, Funicello later went on to record a series of pop records in the late 50's and early 60's before teaming up with life long friend and Singer Frankie Avalon for a series of teenage beach movies. All the while preserving her good girl image. Funicello later became known for her charity work and as a TV pitchwoman for Skippy peanut butter. In 1992, she announced she had multiple sclerosis, which eventually took her abilities to speak and walk. Funicello was 70-years old.

How long is DL Hughley going to last on Dancing With Stars? The adjustment has been hard on the actor/comedian. He is not a good dancer. DL felt the judges werebullying him, but his fans are keeping him in the competition. Despite his lackluster dancing, DL has never been in the bottom three. He never realized being on this show would be so hard. How long can DL escape elimination?

Is Janet Jackson retiring from showbiz? Jackson, 46, is married to a Muslim billionaire
businessman (Wissam Al Mana). Jackson has converted to Islam, and is making plans to move to the Middle East. Is this a wise decision for Janet? A lot of people think so. Since, unlike Justin Timberlake, her career has never bounced back from the Superbowl scandal of 2004.

Smokey Robinson has signed with a new record label, Verve/Universal which is chaired by Musician/Producer David Foster, with plans to record a new duet album. Over the years, Smokey has written classics for Mary Wells, Marvin Gaye and The Temptaions, to name few. On his new CD Duets, Robinson will duet on classic songs he has written, performed or both. Smokey follows in the footsteps of fellow ex-Motowner Lionel Richie. Richie's duet CD of his classic songs gave him his first number one album in almost 30 years. Smokey's CD is due out this fall.

The award-winning film Django Unchained comes out on DVD April 16^th, The Quentin Tarantino movie stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Christoph Waltz, who won an Oscar for his role as the bounty hunter. Tarantino won an Oscar for his screenplay.

Speaking of Jamie Foxx movies, White House Down is Foxx's latest. Foxx is going to play the President Of The United States and his co-stars are Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx Show alum Garcelle Beauvais. White House Down opens in theatres June 28^th. Foxx has also been named the new spokesperson for the national campaign for Big Brothers And Big Sisters.

Speaking of Barbara Walters, she's being quiet about it, but she will be retiring next year in 2014 like Jay Leno? A big sendoff is being planned for May 2014. Walters, 83, heads up the popular daytime show The View. Over the past couple of years, she has battled health
issues, including a fall at the beginning of the year and a bout with the chicken pox. Walters has enjoyed a storied career, and her retirement would mark the end of an era.

In BET news, TD Jakes getting a talk show called Mind, Body & Soul. Jakes' show will deal with issues of health, wellness and finance. Mind, Body & Soul is set to debut this fall on BET.

Oscar Winner Denzel Washington is teaming up with Mark Wahlberg and Paula
Patton in the movie 2 Guns. The movie opens in theatres August 2^nd.

Poet Author Maya Angelou 85, has just released her seventh memoir. The book Mom & Me & Mom is out in stores now.

The new season of R&B Divas Atlanta kicks off May 1^st. Angie Stone and Xscape's LaTocha Scott will be joining Faith Evans and Keke Wyatt on the TV One reality show.

Get ready for the sequel to the Disney-Pixar hit Finding Nemo. Finding Dory will hit theatres in 2015.

The Rolling Stones are coming to Philly for their anniversary. The Stones are bringing their 50^th And Counting Tour to the city on June 18^th.

Wedding bells are in the air for Tina Turner. Turner, 73, is marrying her partner of 27 years Erwin Bach. Turner is older than the 57-year old Bach. The couple now reside in Switzerland.

It’s going to be a boy for Singer Tamar Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert. The power couple are expecting their first child later this year.

Gospel Superstar Fred Hammond has formed  a new group United Tenors. It’s Hammond, Eric Roberson, Dave Hollister and Brian Courtney Wilson. Hammond says it’s the perfect combination of R&B and gospel.

At the movies this week, it's the movie 42, the life story of Jackie Robinson starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. First Lady Michelle Obama hosted a screening of 42 at the White House where she and President Obama hosted and welcomed Rachel Robinson, the 90-year old widow of the baseball legend. Mrs. Obama is also on the cover of Vogue magazine. The First Lady turns 50 next January, and she is already gearing up for a star-studded bash featuring Beyonce and Adele.

Queen Latifah's new talk debuts September 16^th on CBS. The show is being produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, and will feature stand up comedy, music and interviews.

Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Jennifer Hudson are joining forces for the movie Call Me Crazy. The movie is about mental illness and will air Saturday, April 20^th on the Lifetime channel. Meanwhile, Jennifer is causing quite a buzz. She has been doing promotional events but not wearing her engagement ring. Are marriage plans still in the works for Hudson and David
Otunga? They have been engaged forever, but no wedding date has been set.

Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey? Yes! Oprah is going to be a guest of Harvey's top-rated daytime talk show. Oprah will sit down with Harvey on April 26^th.The Steve Harvey talk show airs locally at 2pm on NBC-10.  It's now called The Neighborhood Awards and tickets are now on sale. The Neighborhood Awards are happening August 8^th -11^th in Las Vegas.

Taye Diggs is coming back to TV. Diggs was recently in the ABC drama Private Practice. Now, he just filmed a pilot for the TNT network called Murder In The First, where he will play a homicide detective. Later this year, Diggs will be starring in the Best Man sequel which is slated to hit theatres in November. Best Man Director Malcolm Lee will be back as well, but first his directing work on Scary Movie V will be in theaters April 12^th.

Olympic Darling Gabby Douglas has written another book called Raising The Bar. In the book, she talks about her life after the Olympics. Douglas covers: her daily life with family and friends as an everyday teen with a not so everyday life. It also details her life after the London Olympics. The book is a followup to her previous bestseller Grace, Gold & Glory: My Leap Of Faith. Last summer, Douglas stole the hearts of the international Olympic audience at the London games.

Motown Founder Berry Gordy will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in June. Before he founded Motown Records, Gordy was quite a prominent songwriter for artists such as Jackie Wilson (To Be Loved, Reet Petite, To Be Loved and Lonely Teardrops) and Etta James (All I
Could Do Was Cry). The legendary music mogul is getting the Pioneer's Award. This is hot on the heels of the The Motown Musical, which debuts on Broadway April 14^th.

Check out Grammy Award winning Singer Miguel. He will be appearing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week with Actor Vince Vaughn hosting.

How hot is Actor Craig Robinson? Well, there is life after the sitcom The Office. The show ends this year, but Robinson is filming a pilot for a new NBC show where he will play a musician who takes a job as a middle school teacher. Actor Larenz Tate (Why Do Fools Fall In Love; Love Jones) will co-star. Robinson also has a new Tyler Perry produced-movie coming out May called Peeples. It hits theaters May 10^th, and also stars Kerry Washington, Diahann Carroll, David Alan Grier
(In Living Color), Craig Robinson (The Office), S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order), Melvin Van Peebles and Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris, Go On). Tina Gordon Chism wrote and directed while Perry is producer.

Ahmir Questlove Thompson, the drummer for The Roots, has a memoir coming out June 18^th called Mo' Meta Blues: The World According To Questlove.

Iyanla Van Zandt is back the second season of her hit show Iyanla: Fix My Life kicks off April 13^th on OWN. In the new season, she squares off with Rapper DMX and Sheree Whitfield, formerly of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Following Fix My Life, it's LaToya Jackson' new reality show Life With LaToya on OWN.

Beyonce is launching The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. She'll be in Philly July 25^th at the Wells Fargo Center and at The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on July 26^th.

In more Beyonce news, she has just confirmed her return to 2013 Essence Festival July 4^th  -7^th. She'll take her Mrs. Carter show to New Orleans and the Essence main stage.
