How can Halle Berry salvage her career? After her baby daddy, Model Gabriel Aubry, was beat up by her boyfriend, Actor Olivier Martinez, many blamed Berry. The Oscar winner is known for her man troubles
with ex-husbands David Justice and Eric Benet and ex-boyfriends Christopher Williams and Wesley Snipes. Berry has always blamed her exes for her troubles. Now, she is having major problems with her daughter's father. Aubry allegedly started the confrontation with her Martinez on Thanksgiving morning, but Martinez opened up a can of Whip A**, and Aubry got his butt kicked. Berry’s people have urged her to stop the fighting with her baby daddy because the public is turning against her. Berry hasn’t had a hit movie in years. So now, Berry and Aubry have come to a truce, and have made a pact to end the public feuding and do what’s best for their daughter Nahla. Will Berry be able to get her career back on track? Can she shake the stigma that she is a troubled lady who has a problem with men?
Troubled Comedian/Actor Katt Williams has announced his retirement from stand up comedy. Williams, 39, is leading a very troubled life. This past weekend he led police on a car chase, slapped a Target worker in Seattle, threw a cigarette in a woman's eye and got tossed out of a Seattle hotel with his family. Williams stays in trouble. He is either on drugs or has mental issues. Someone close to him has to
step forward to get this man help. At one time, Williams was the hottest comedian on the scene, but now his career has become a joke, a bad one.
Marvin Gaye, III is not happy that his friend Lenny Kravitz is playing his dad, Marvin Gaye, in a new movie. Marvin, III says he has lawyer trying to stop the project. He feels the movie being planned is too negative because it focuses on his dad's life in the 80’s when the legendary Motown artist battled drugs and depression before getting fatally shot by his father.
Congrats to Singer/Actor Ray J. Brandy's little brother and Whitney Houston's ex is getting married. Ray J recently became engaged to Model Mia Milano. No wedding date has been announced.

Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her marital problems with ex-husband Marc Anthony. What went wrong? Lopez says she didn’t like the way she was being treated. She says it was no fun being in an unhealthy relationship despite having two children with Anthony. Lopez is currently on tour with her young dancer/boyfriend. Lopez says her new man, Casper Smart, has brought her laughter and happiness.
An old boyfriend of Elmo Creator Kevin Clash has come forward to offer support for the embattled former Sesame Street puppeteer. 29-year old Jason Murray says Clash not a villain. He says Clash just likes younger men, and that's no different than a straight man who prefers young women. Clash’s career as the force behind “Elmo” came to a screeching halt with Sesame Street when three young men came forward with lawsuits claiming they had had sexual relationships with Clash when they were underage.
Jackson family Patriarch Joe Jackson suffered a mild stroke last week, yet you didn’t hear a word about it from the Jackson Family. Papa Joe, 84, has a history of suffering minor strokes. He lives in Las Vegas despite still being married to Katherine Jackson. He has been cut out of late son Michael Jackson's will, and he is estranged from his children. Papa Joe is paying the price for being a mean, womanizing stage father.
Football's Michael Vick will probably sign on with another team after getting a raw deal by the Eagles. Vick has been relegated to being a back up quarterback. He is still undergoing tests after suffering a concussion. This season has been rough for Vick. With no protection from the offensive line, he was always getting hurt. In their recent move, The Eagles won’t have to pay Vick the millions on his contract. Look for the Eagles organization to make numerous changes, but the big question remains, will they keep Andy Reid as head coach? Word has it he could take the Cowboys if they get rid of their coach.
The Preacher Wives Of Atlanta are coming. January 1st will be the TLC cable channel's debut of the latest sisterhood reality show featuring the lives of the first ladies…the ministers' wives that is.

Actress Tasha Smith says she is perfect choice to play Donna Summer if a movie is made on her life. Summer, known as the Queen Of Disco, died in May of lung cancer at the age of 63. Smith wants to prove she is more than just the angry “Angela” character she plays on the Tyler Perry-TBS sitcom For Better Or Worse. Smith is also about to introduce a new wig line, and she is currently promoting her
fragrance line.

Former NBA Superstar Allen Iverson's Georgia home is up for sale. Iverson is going through a nasty divorce with his wife Tawanna. They purchased that home two years ago. Everything in the house is up for sale. He also owes a jeweler a million dollars. Iverson is currently playing basketball overseas in China. He says he can’t make the payments on his house because he is only making $63,000 a month but his monthly
expenses are over $350,000. What is he spending his money on? How about $10,000 a month on groceries, $10,000 a month on clothes, and he is still driving his Maybach.

We remember Earl “Speedo” Carroll. Carroll was the lead singer of the group The Cadillacs known for their doo-wop classics Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Gloria and their signature hit Speedo, named for
Carroll. The Cadillacs were the first group to present the syncopated stage show, known today as group choreography. Carroll was 75 and died from complications of diabetes and a stroke.
Jazz Great Dave Brubeck has died a day shy of his 92nd birthday. The composer/pianist is considered one of the major innovators of progressive jazz. His Dave Brubeck Quartet enjoyed the major hits Blue Rondo a la Turk, Pick Up Sticks.,and the timeless classic, Take Five. Brubeck was also held in high regard among social activists as he was among the earliest performers to integrate his band. Brubeck would also cancel performances and even TV appearances if all members of the quartet weren't treated equally or subjected to racism. One of Brubeck's last public appearances was on his 89th birthday when President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama saluted Brubeck during the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors.
Mike Tyson recently admitted during an interview he was high as a kite from cocaine during the filming of the box office hit The Hangover. Tyson also revealed he was in a love triangle with his then wife Robin Givens and Actor Brad Pitt. Tyson is telling all because he's going on the road with his one man show next year.
Comedian/Actor Chris Tucker, who is featured in the movie Silver Linings Playbook, is preparing for his Guess Who's Back stand up comedy tour. Tucker plans on hitting the road extensively in 2013.
After 30 years, Actress Cicely Tyson is returning to Broadway. She makes her return next April in the production The Trip To Bountiful. Tyson plays an elderly woman who returns to her small Texas town.
I had a chance to catch up with Actor Morris Chestnut. Chestnut is best known for his roles in the movies Boyz In The Hood, The Brothers and The Best Man. Chestnut is the executive producer and host of the new docu-series Vindicated, which airs on BET Tuesday nights at 10:30pm. Chestnut teams up with the Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to exonerating men and women who were wrongfully convicted. Next year, look for Chestnut on both the TV and silver screens. He has been added to the cast of the Showtime drama Nurse Jackie, and he is co-starring as Halle Berry's love interest in the movie The Hive. Chestnut also confirmed to me that he will be in the sequel to The Best Man.
A Philadelphia memorial service is taking place on Saturday, December 8th for Singer Major Harris. Harris, 65, died on November 9th. He was buried in his native Virginia, but the memorial given by his family is happening at Calvary Baptist Church, 6122 Haverford Avenue at 11am.
The Keith Sweat show scheduled for Dec. 7th at the Keswick Theatre has been cancelled.
Will there ever be a Martin reunion? The Martin Lawrence 90’s hit sitcom is still popular with viewers. Since show ended in the midst of a sexual harassment lawsuit that Co-star Tisha Martin Campbell filed
against Lawrence, don’t look for it to happen.
Sports Illustrated has announced their 2012 Sportsman Of The Year: Basketball Superstar Lebron James of the Miami Heat. James had an amazing year with his Olympic gold medals and clinching NBA Championship win.
Actress Regina King is going to be all over your TV in 2013. Season five of her TNT drama Southland returns February 13th, and she is joining the cast of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

Music Mogul Clive Davis is also going to do a tell all book. Davis, 80, launched the careers of Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow and Alicia Keys, and he was also instrumental in the careers of John Lennon,

The new season of American Idol kicks off January 16th on FOX, and it looks like new Judge Nicki Minaj will be the mean one, the new Simon Cowell. The new season should be interesting with fellow Judges Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Randy Jackson and Host Ryan Seacrest.
December is going to be a big month for Jamie Foxx. He is going to be hosting Saturday Night Live this week with special guest Ne-Yo. His new movie, Django Unchained with Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson, opens Christmas Day.
