Will Oscar Winner Halle Berry quit the business to protect her daughter? Last week, an ugly brawl broke out at her house between her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry and her boyfriend Olivier Martinez. Aubry took a beating and was arrested over the Thanksgiving holiday after dropping his daughter Nahla off to Berry. Aubry says he didn’t start the fight and was wrongly arrested. He claims Martinez threatened to kill him. Earlier this month, Berry lost her bid to take her daughter out of the country to live. A judge ruled that it would be harmful to the little Nahla. Martinez is an ex-boxer and broke his right hand during the fight. Aubry may have hurt his chances to see his daughter. Berry's career could also suffer from this. She hasn’t had a hit movie in years, and lately more attention has been paid to her
troubled personal life and problems with men.
Another Elmo Accuser! Say it isn’t so. More problems for Elmo Creator Kevin Clash. A third man has come forward and wants to sue for money claiming he had a sexual relationship with Clash when he was 16. He says Clash was 40 at the time, and they met on a gay chat line. Clash, now 52, has resigned from Sesame Street. Right now the only thing that is saving him is the statue of limitations because his
accusers claim these incidents happened over ten years ago. Is it all about the money? Why would these young men wait so long to tell their story?
It appears the romance between Bobbi Kris and her play brother/boyfriend Nick Gordon is over. Bobbi Kris is the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston. Gordon says they are no longer dating or engaged but are just being. Being What?!! Sources say it could be a ratings ploy because no one is interested in their Lifetime reality show On Our Own. Others says Bobbi Kris hacked into Gordon's twitter account and found out about other women.
Andrea Kelly, the ex-wife of R Kelly, is ready to tell all. Andrea says she will talk about her life as “Mrs. R Kelly” in the book Life Under The Red Carpet. For years, R Kelly kept her and their children hidden to maintain his single image.
Actor Donald Faison (Scrubs, Waiting To Exhale, Clueless) will be hosting the new hidden-camera, TBS comedy series Who Gets The Last Laugh. DL Hughley, Bill Bellamy and Charlie Murphy will also be featured. The show kicks off next spring.
Kevin Hart's BET show, Real Husbands Of Hollywood, has been moved up to the beginning of the year. The comedy/improv-reality show takeoff debuts January 15th on BET. Real Husbands features a who’s who of stars including Robin Thicke, Boris Kodjoe, Nick Cannon, Nelly, Duane Martin, Faizon Love, JB Smoove and Anthony Anderson, just to name a few.
Singer Faith Evans is leaving the TV One show R&B Divas after one season. Another cast member, Nicci Gilbert, is also leaving. Word has it Singer Angie Stone may be joining the cast for second two.
Drama erupted at the funeral of Boxing Champ Hector “Macho” Camacho. Camacho died late last week after being taken off life support. He was shot in the face in an ambush in Puerto Rico. Camacho, 50, was a boxing phenom in the 80’s and 90’s. He ended the career of Sugar Ray Leonard in 1997 in a five round knock out during their classic showdown. At Camacho's funeral there was one woman too many in attendance: his 50-year old longtime girlfriend Gloria Fernandez and his 28-year old girlfriend Cynthia Castillo. Castillo bent down to kiss Camacho's body at the funeral, and Fernandez went off. A fight ensued and the Castillo, the young jumpoff, punched Fernandez in the face. Camacho's sisters also took part in the fighting. Castillo was later escorted out of the building. She told reporters outside that she was Camacho's girlfriend, and anyone who doesn’t like it will have to Swallow It!
Get ready for Beyonce in 2013. She’s performing halftime at the Superbowl, and she’s producing a documentary about her life that will air on HBO February 16th.
Former Football Star Warren Sapp says he can’t afford his child support payments. Sapp has six kids by five different women, and he says paying $16,000 a month is too much. Sapp is currently working as a NFL analyst and makes $45,000 a month. Will a judge lower his payment. Sapp, 39, worked 13 years in the NFL and he did a stint on Dancing With The Stars.
We remember Mickey Baker. The Blues/R&B vocalist and guitarist was half of the team Mickey and Sylvia. The duo topped the charts in 1956 with the million-selling classic Love Is Strange. Baker also played on sessions with Ike & Tina Turner, Clyde McPhatter, Ruth Brown and The Drifters. He died in France at the age of 87. His duet partner, who went on to become Sylvia Robinson the record mogul (The Moments; Sugar Hill Gang) and 70's hitmaker with Pillow Talk, died in 2011.
After five and a half years and a young son together, Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou have called it quits. The couple never married and have been separated for a while. Simmons was previously married to Music Mogul Russell Simmons, and they have two daughters together. Simmons has a new show launching on the Style network on January 22nd called Kimora's House Of Fab.
The R&B Music Hall Of Fame will launch new inductees May 5th 2013. New Inductees include Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, The Supremes, The Miracles and Ray Charles.
Singer Karyn White from Superwoman fame has returned to the music scene with the release of her new CD Carpe Diem.
Fantasia is talking about her recent weight loss. She looks great. The former American Idol winner says she’s been working out and eating healthy.
Don’t look for a reunion with Kenan & Kel anytime soon. Back in the late 90’s, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell were the stars of the Nickelodeon network show Kenan & Kel. They also had the hit movie Good Burger. In a recent interview, Mitchell says he hasn’t talked to Thompson. Thompson is now a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and next year, he is getting his own NBC show. Mitchell says Thompson has gotten too Hollywood and won’t return his calls. Mitchell says he would love to do a reunion with Thompson, but he admits it probably won’t happen.
Alicia Keys recently announced her 2013 tour. It launches in March with opening act Singer Miguel.
Oprah Winfrey says if her O magazine starts to lose money, she will stop publishing it. Since Winfrey left daytime TV, the magazine has seen a slump in sales. Will she eventually do like Newsweek and go all digital?
Get well wishes go out to Jazz Bassist Marcus Miller. Miller's tour bus overturned in Switzerland and the bus driver died. Miller is best know for his work with Luther Vandross, Dizzy Gillespie and Miles
Davis. Miller is out of the hospital and resting.
Meagan Good's new NBC drama, Deception, premieres January 7th and also stars Laz Alonso.
Jessica Simpson is pregnant again. Simpson had her first baby seven months ago, and she gained a lot of weight. Simpson was paid $4 million to promote Weight Watchers, and she did lose 60 pounds. I wonder what she will do now with Weight Watchers?
The remake of the Sparkle movie with Jordan Sparks, Tika Sumpter and the late Whitney Houston comes out on DVD and Blu Ray November 30th.
Cedric The Entertainer's TV Land sitcom Soul Man has been renewed for a second season. And The Soul Train Awards Cedric hosted will re-air on BET Saturday, December 1st at 9pm. New Edition got the night's highest honor: the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Whatever happened to the Timex Social Club? 25 years ago, the group had a huge hit with the song Rumors. Then they broke up a year later. The group is putting together a book on the rise and fall of the group.
Music Mogul Clive Davis is also going to do a tell all book. Davis, 80, launched the careers of Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow and Alicia Keys, and he was also instrumental in the careers of John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Phyllis Hyman, Jeffrey Osborne and Angela Bofill. Davis was also an integral part of the launching and successes of the labels Arista, J, LaFace Records, Bad Boy and Philadelphia International Records, among others.
Former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson has launched a children's charity. The Mike Tyson Cares Foundation will be helping kids from broken homes with school assistance and mentoring.

December is going to be a big month for Jamie Foxx. He is going to be hosting Saturday Night Live on December 8th with special guest Ne-Yo. Jill Scott has been added to the cast of David E. Talbert's film Baggage Claim. Paula Patton stars in the movie about a flight attendant who has 30 days and 30,000 miles to find a husband.
