We also remember Actor Lou Myers. He was best known as “Mr. Gaines” on A Different World. Bill Cosby cast him in that show after Myers made two memorable appearances on The Cosby Show. I had the pleasure of meeting him on Broadway when he was appearing in Debbie Allen and WDAS alum Stephen Byrd's production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. The actor had recent heart surgery and was hospitalized after collapsing in his home in January. Myers was 76-years old.
