Intern At WDAS
Thank you for your interest in Clear Channel Radio Philadelphia's Internship Program. Our program is challenging and rewarding providing real world experience for anyone seriously interested in an electronic media career. Our application process is competitive and rigorous. In addition to completing the application and including a resume and cover letter, you must provide a signed letter from your college or university indicating that you are eligible to receive academic credit for an internship if selected. This is the most critical portion of the application package and we cannot consider applicants without this. You can download the application packet which includes a description sheet and supervisor letter explaining our program to you and the person in charge of internships at your college/university. The application details internship requirements, deadlines and the departments offering an intern experience. Please submit all portions of your application package together. Recommendation letters that arrive separately without your package will be returned to you. Clear Channel offers a limited number of senior project slots for high school students during the Spring only. There is a cap on the number of those selected for this program, and applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for high school seniors applying for a senior project with Clear Channel is the last day of March. No exceptions. The process requires filling out the application package that is attached; along with the letter of credit from the high school explaining the senior project and outlining all requirements and program rules. Please give us at least 2 weeks following receipt of your application to review it and schedule an interview. Deadlines for receipt of internship application packages are as follows: Summer semester (June - August): Package must arrive no later than May 1st. Fall Semester (August - December): Package must arrive no later than August 1st. Spring semester (Period of December - May): Package must arrive no later than December 15th.
